The Space Between is the Imprint earned from Nell's side story, The Part Between. Nell is a rooted home neuron, and the story is about the pause between one signal and the next.
How it works#
- After your Care restores a connection, its "working again" confirmation stays readable one round longer.
- You cannot Care the same connection twice in a row.
- It never warns ahead or changes function.
- The story completes at step NELL3, "The ordinary next pair", once function is actually stable.
Numbers#
Claude B's bots (SIMULATION, 2 November) made it the Warden's leading Imprint in Vessel Margins and at Hearth (21%).
Development#
The user approved Nell's story and this Imprint on 31 October (from the companions dossier). The turn effect (confirmRounds, noRepeatCare) was built on 2 November and is in the alpha engine.
