Clear Interval is the Imprint earned from Mote's side story, The Uninteresting Ones. It suits Mote, the observer who keeps careful, ordinary records.
How it works#
- A lingering response shows its full fade timer, and it stays readable one round longer.
- It never diagnoses anything or changes function.
- You have one less move in the first round of each room.
- The story completes at step M7, "Uninteresting, and kept". Mote's separate recruitment step is M5.
Numbers#
Like Shared Boundary, it adds only information, so Claude B's bots cannot value it (near 10%, tied with none).
Development#
The user approved the name on 31 October. The turn effect (fadeTimer, lingerRounds) was built on 2 November as presenter facts, and is in the alpha engine. Mote's story runs from the Prologue to Act III, and its later scenes are not staged in the alpha yet.
