How to play and what this is
WASD/arrows move · click walk · E extend a process to the nearest
thing in reach (debris, socket, astrocyte, neighbour, vessel gap) · keep within reach
while it works · hold Shift anchor (no knock-back, can't move) · X let go
· F pull toward the cursor (reposition build) · Space helper (assist
build) · P pause · R restart.
A glowing socket sends a wave a moment later. Waves bend around walls, pull your
processes back and dim neurons outside a linked astrocyte's cover. Seal every socket and
clear all debris. Visitors from the vessel gap clear debris fast, but crowds strain
nearby neurons. A neuron dimmed to zero is lost, and that fails the room.
What is real: in mouse imaging, microglial branches converge on an injury within minutes
and can briefly patch small vessel leaks; after brain injury in people, recurring waves
of depolarisation can silence neurons for a while. What is a game rule: fixed injury
sockets, waves bending round walls, astrocytes shielding neurons from waves (astrocytes
depolarise too), and crowding visitors dimming neurons (not shown for neutrophils).
Timings are compressed and invented.
